A rush to get on track

During the past year, nine young dogs started their 12-month training programme with our group, but it hasn’t been an easy time.

Unfortunately, the training period coincided with pandemic lockdowns, when Government restrictions meant we couldn’t organise our usual training days. We chose four dogs to take their TA test — a Belgian deer dog examination — in March 2022, which we hoped would give us plenty of time to prepare them. The rest would take their exams in June.
