60 SECONDS WITH... Patrice Roberts

Who is Patrice Roberts and where are you from?

I’m an introverted country girl who loves music. I grew up in a small fishing village called Toco in Trinidad & Tobago.

Who has been influential for you on your journey?

I transitioned into Soca from singing Calypso, and Bunji After that, I went on to join the HD Band with Machel Montano for a number of years, before branching out as a solo act. It’s tough to list all the players and I really do not want to leave anyone out. I am forever grateful for all my opportunities to date and for those who played a part along the way.
