OPENED IN JUNE 2021, the Crystalbrook Kingsley is a stylish 130-room hotel, a newcomer to the Crystalbrook boutique collection and Newcastle’s first five-star hotel. Drawing its name from Kingstown, one of Newcastle’s original names, it’s part of the redirection of this industrial city towards a more modern, cleaner future. Given its prime location in the city’s cultural heartlands – the art gallery, theatre, library, war memorial and a slew of modern dining options close at hand – it could be a central part.
