Specialising in art from remote Aboriginal art centre communities, the Directors’ focus has been in making cultural connections through art. Featuring an art market, artist talks and workshops running alongside the exhibition, the program provides a unique opportunity to meet artists from all over the state, hear rich stories of culture and community, and support the next generation of artists by buying artwork to take home and cherish. Exhibited works range from highly traditional to cutting edge in a range of mediums including painting, installation, textiles, photography, print, video, carving and sculpture.
