The Hilo Trollers’ first tournament of the 2022 season has been scheduled for Sunday, May 1, weather permitting. Membership and entry forms are available at supporting tackle shops S. Tokunaga Store and J. Hara Store. Completed forms are due by 4 p.m. on the Friday before the tournament, so for May that is Friday, April 29. If small-craft advisories are posted after 6 p.m. on the Saturday before the tournament (April 30), the tournament will be postponed until the following Sunday.

The trollers held their organizational spring meeting at the ramp during pau hana time, on Saturday, April 23. There was a good turnout of returning and potential new members. Board members were introduced, suggestions for the season were made, and a good time was had by all.
