‘I said yes when OPPORTUNITY KNOCKED’
This is me, aged 21, wearing a saucepan on my head during a spur-of-the-moment camping trip in the south of France. It was the summer of 1989 and I had graduated from university. Goodbye student life – exams, mildew-spotted shower curtains and crunchy carpets. Next stop, a real job, a Filofax and so many shoulder pads.
But not quite yet.
