Hearing laughs and shrieks, I went outside to see my two boys playing in the paddling pool.
It was half-term in May 2020 and we were meant to be in Majorca, but the lockdown had hit.
Instead, I’d suggested a fake Majorca in the back garden, with the pool.
My boys Alfie, then 13, and Danny, 10, were loving it, splashing about.
