Scurrying across the kitchen, Ronny, 1, reached for a rogue dog biscuit, shoved it in his mouth. ‘That’s not for you!’ I laughed, scooping him up. It was June 2010 and my Ronny was constantly putting things in his mouth. Just like all toddlers, I reasoned.
But when he started preschool in September 2011, his teacher gave me a warning. ‘Don’t be alarmed if his poo’s blue!’ she said.
