Welsh lines take part in April fooling

ON April 1, Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway announced was to be completed in purple as part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. On the same day, the Talyllyn Railway and Rhyl Miniature Railway announced they were experimenting with third rail electric power, the former stating its steam locos were being transferred to the Narrow Gauge Railway Museum on an initial agreement to April 1, 2023. Be aware of the date!
