    Spring awakenings

    The energy crept into my limbs as I read the weather predictions for the weekend, highs in the mid-50s and sun. The spring equinox was arriving this Saturday, and the snow had recently melted away. I was excited. Warmth brings dryness, giving way to more available ground. After months of rinks and indoor skate parks, I now could feel the wind and my wheels simultaneously again.
