Tackling tinnitus

THE HEARING condition tinnitus affects many people’s daily lives daily, with many struggling to cope with its effects.

During the initial stages of the pandemic, reports of tinnitus rose, especially in people with Covid-19, with a study published in the International Journal of Audiology estimating that as many as one in six individuals with Covid-19 had tinnitus, most often during the early stages of the virus.
