fascination with history — of time-honoured techniques, cultural heritage and storytelling — makes up the very fabric of designer Emily Adams Bode Aujla’s creations for the eponymous menswear label she founded in 2016. Vintage and deadstock textiles inspire or are actually woven, patchworked and embroidered into her whimsical one-of-a-kind pieces. She believes that, in, “there are so many different ways of calculating a sustainable approach. To me, it’s beyond the fabric and the materials and reuse. It’s also about sharing knowledge.”
