    ■ Two pieces of fabric, approx 10x10cm (4x4in)

    Yarn used knits as 4ply to this tension: 40 sts and 39 rows to meas 10x10cm (4x4in) over textured patterns using 2¾mm needles

    C4F Sl next 2 sts to cn and hold at front of work, k2, then k2 from cn

    Make star P3tog leaving sts on needle, yo, then purl the same 3 sts together again
