WHAT IS SPEEDRUNNING?
The point of speedrunning is to beat a game as fast as possible, finding the quickest route to the end of the game. For players familiar with Minecraft, speedruns are a new challenge that allow them to test their skills and find new ways to approach the game!
Unlike most games, Minecraft is open-ended, so a speedrun is hard to define. However, the gaming community considers a typical speedrun to have been successfully completed when the player defeats the ender dragon and enters the exit portal!
