Seedeaters to savour

OF ALL cage or aviary birds, seedeaters are probably the easiest to obtain and look after and, in turn, the easiest to breed. Zebras and Bengalese finches have a huge following, and those breeds have their own individual clubs for enthusiasts to join to find and meet fellow breeders with the same interests, and to progress to showing if they so wish.

My personal interest first and foremost has always been as a budgerigar breeder.
