The other day I saw the perfect case of a dog walking its owner. A solid French bulldog, dragging an equally solid man behind it, leash taut between them, wrinkled heads bobbing in unison. I have no doubt the man firmly believed he was taking his dog on a walk and not the other way around. Regardless of who was leading whom, I marvelled at the similarity between the two.
