WELCOME to the Heritage ’22 Events Guide (Part 1 March to July), a publication whose genesis is in the highly successful Old Glory events guides that have been published since the year after that magazine was launched in 1988.

The sun is shining into my office, as I look across the fields and think about the events I’m looking forward to visiting in the next few months. After everything we have all gone through over the last couple of years, we need to get out there and enjoy.

With such a fragmented and limited rally season, we couldn’t bring you our annual Events Guide last year. However, it’s back and here it is for 2022!

As you can see, your pocket size Heritage ’22 Events Guide is full to the brim with so many events. There are certainly plenty of places for you to visit during the first half of the season, including in the Republic of Ireland.

I have already been to a number of events this year, and noted record attendances at all of them. Interest in the heritage sector is at a record high, which is wonderful to report.

Right now we are preparing Part 2 of the Heritage ‘22 Events Guide. So, if you haven’t already, do send in details of your event, whether it’s connected with buses, cars, commercials, steam, tractors, motor-cycles, railways, canals, ships, heritage sites, miniatures and models, we want to hear about it. All that is left to say is, stay safe, have fun and do support your local events in particular.

Please check show and museum websites or contact organisers to ensure events are still on especially before travelling long distances. While every care has been taken to make the following listings as accurate as possible, the compiler and publisher cannot accept responsibility for any errors.
