150 years of the Emirates FA Cup

Royal Mail’s footballthemed stamp set serves as an ‘extended highlights’ package of this long-running competition, though some supporters will be more pleased with what is recalled than others. You can’t please everyone, and the design of the stamps is obviously intended to capture the tradition and romance of the FA Cup, as lower league teams play the country’s best sides, and individual heroics are written into the history books.
