‘Unshowable birds’ take centre stage

AT THE February meeting, it was announced that David Rafis, the recently elected president and publicity officer, had decided for personal reasons to step down from his posts and have a break as a member of the club. The club wished him well and thanked him for his previous support and commitment to the club.

Ghalib Al-Nasser agreed to take on the role of president and was voted to continue in the role. John Gibbens also agreed to take on the responsibility of publicity officer and again was voted to do so by the mem-bers of the club.

Members brought several exhibits that were shown under the “unshowable birds” section. These included birds with no tails,
