Junior is welcome at Midland LCA event

MIDLAND LCA

THE Midland Lizard Canary Association held its 2021 show on December 5 in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire. The judge engaged was David Allen and he presided over a total of 75 birds benched, of which 49 were in the champion section, 20 in the novice section and six junior birds.

The numbers exhibited were an improvement compared to when the last show took place, and was made up of 10 champions, four novices and the association’s first junior exhibitor for several years.

The partnership of Rob & Ian Wright had a great day, taking the awards for best champion colour fed Lizard canary, best champion (2nd & 3rd), and best champion non colour fed Lizard canary.

The rest of the awards in the champion section went to Chris Jordan for best champion colour fed overyear, and Huw Evans was awarded 2nd & 3rd best champion non colour fed and best champion non colour fed over-year.
