We’ll continue building our library of gypsy jazz vocabulary by learning more licks in the key of D Major. Tunes from the gypsy jazz repertoire often played in this key, include the everpopular Coquette, Daphne, Manoir de Mes Rêves (also known as Django’s Castle), Belleville and Them There Eyes.

The D Major parent scale contains the notes D-E-F#-G-A-B-C#, but look out for the passing notes used in the Examples.
