AWARD WINNING ARTIST Christi Friesen lives two hours’ drive from the hustle and bustle of downtown Los Angeles in the town of Tehachapi. Christi is a master sculptor of polymer clay but it is the beads, stones, gems, fossils and other precious objects she incorporates into her clay pieces that make her work outstanding.
“I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember,” shares Christi from her mountain home. “And like many artistic people I’ve dabbled in numerous forms of art. I started sculpting in high school but only discovered polymer clay several years ago. When I realised I could incorporate beads, I was hooked.”
