The Los Angeles bar scene is in a state of flux at present, with stand-alone bars remaining closed, however, those attached to restaurants are entitled to provide outdoor dining and drinks, as well as to-go and bottled cocktails. We advise checking in with your local authority and with the bars themselves before venturing out, and of course, always wear a mask and drink responsibly.

Downtown Los Angeles’ (DTLA) renaissance started the year at full-speed ahead. The high-rise central hub of this endless metropolis evolved the past decade from desolate at night to lined with food and drink destinations. LA’s continued evolution intrigues, as newcomers pop up and long-timers mature across the massive LA basin, even as low-key greats in almost every imaginable cuisine have been the city’s roots for decades.
