WHOLE WORKS

This indulgent treat is made in three layers. I begin with a prominent, extra-chunky shortbread base, follow up with a layer of sweet and chewy toffee and finish with a rich chocolate drizzle to create an addictive, decadent bar that is likely to become a family favourite. More often than not, the middle layer of a slice steals the limelight, but in this particular recipe, it shares the stage equally with the sweet and chunky biscuit base. I highly recommend these alluring fridge bars for all ages!
