Oxwich Bay, one of many popular beaches situated on the stunningly beautiful South Gower coast, has for many years been one of the main launch sites for trailered small boats in South Wales. My personal relationship with Oxwich goes back a long time, to the early 1980s, and I have countless fond memories of hugely successful days fishing that began launching my boats ‘Teal’ and ‘Alison’ from this flat, and mostly sandy, beach.
Over the years I have probably spent more time boat fishing at Oxwich than anywhere else. My records show that throughout the 1980s and 1990s I used to launch my boats
