IT WAS TIME AGAIN FOR US AUTOMOTIVE journalists to embark on an annual journey. Here, we would once more be handed a newest offering from one of the largest auto manufacturers in India and explore a part of our country in search of a story worthy of this magazine and the eyes of our readers. The offering this year is the all-new Hyundai Alcazar and this is the 2021 Hyundai Great India Drive.

The Great India Drive has been a very successful concept with numerous publications and media houses trotting over every inch of the country with stories themed on “unity”, “progress”, and more. The same continues this year in a sort of a version 2.0-like style with the word “progress” gaining predominance once again. As mentioned above, our chariot this year would be the new Alcazar, a seven-seater SUV by the Korean company that we found supremely brilliant on our journey. More on that later.
