BONUS CHEST

Appears, surrounded by torches, near your spawn point if you tick the ‘bonus chest’ box when creating a new world. There is only one per world, and it isn’t available on Hardcore mode. It mostly contains food, wood, and wooden tools, though you might get a stone axe or pickaxe. In the Bedrock Edition, it can also contain cactus blocks and seeds.

RUINED PORTAL

Every ruined portal spawns with a loot chest, but it can be destroyed after generation. The chests can contain lots of unique and rare stuff: enchanted golden tools, weapons and armour, glistering melon, golden carrot, clocks, bells, fire charges, golden apples, iron and gold nuggets, flint & steel, and obsidian.

PILLAGER OUTPOST

Found on the top floor of outposts. These chests can contain logs, crossbows, arrows, string and tripwire hooks, some food items, iron ingots, a bottle o’ enchanting and, most excitingly, an enchanted book.
