■ 4 skeins Purl Soho Flax Down; 43% baby alpaca, 42% extra-fine merino, 15% linen; 100g/219 yards per skein, in Oyster Gray

■ 60 cm (24") circular needles (US 7/4.5mm)

■ Double pointed needles (US 4/3.5 mm)

■ Removable stitch marker

■ Tapestry needle

■ Scissors

GAUGE

17 stitches and 40 rows = 10cm (4") over brioche stitch using US 7 (4.5mm) needles or size needed to obtain gauge. When counting brioche rows, each knit stitch in a column represents 2 rows.
