Investment Growth

Fixed assets investment (FAI) nationwide went up 12.2 percent year on year in the first two months of 2022, standing at around 5.076 trillion yuan ($796.16 billion), data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed on March 15.

Compared with the same period in 2021, the growth rate went up 7.3 percentage points.

On a month-on-month basis, the FAI gained 0.66 percent in February.

Private investment rose 11.4 percent year on year in the first two months, the NBS data showed.
