These wonderful retail outlets are Aladdin’s caves of treasure, selling everything from unusually branded dog food and shampoos that look like Head and Shoulders but aren’t to biscuits with Arabic writing on the back … all for a quid an item!
But who will staff our new Pound Shops? Just like political parties, these magical stores require special kinds of people to take control, to make them function properly and to ensure that they provide exactly what the cash-strapped Great British public needs. So who better to take on the mantle of Pound Shop Manager than the current leaders of our political parties
