CHANGING HANDS

Bob Wardhaugh from the Scottish Borders owns a Model B with an interesting history. His yard near Melrose is full of old tractors and space is at a premium.

He says: “I’m an agricultural engineer to trade and served my time at the old Rutherfords tractor dealership in nearby Earlston. Rutherford’s had several branches in the Borders, and we used to deal with Nuffields and International tractors. The experience I gained was invaluable and means I can carry out my own restorations.
