Ford’s Sierra divided people 40 years ago, and still divides opinions today. Yet whatever your personal preferences, objectively the Sierra is infinitely better to drive and ride in than the Cortina it replaced. The’tina had been a decent class average, but in October 1982 the Sierra gave the regular motorist ride and handling up there with the best.
