Fresh from the plot

April is one of those months that just tingles with anticipation. The spring sun has the power to wake up every hibernating creature, myself included.

The sounds of a new season are everywhere: with bees buzzing from buttercups to dandelions, robins chirping excitedly over the freshly turned soil and even the excited laughter from children splashing in puddles from neighbouring plots. These are the sounds and the scenes that are putting a smile on my face this month. And my main hope? What this growing season will bring. I can only hope the gardening gods are ready to
