FOR centuries doctors have been extolling the virtuesofagoodnight’s sleep. When we enter deep sleep, the body goes into recovery mode and produces growth hormones. These growth hormones create new cells that help heal the skin from any damage done during the day.
With many studies showing that poor sleep is directly linked to reduced skin health, it makes sense that we not only try to improve our sleeping patterns but use products that aid the skin’s ability to heal itself during slumber.
