New retro gaming magazines seem to be popping up all over the place these days, and Sega Powered (segapowered.com) is the latest to embrace the power of the printed page. It’s got quite the team behind it too – editor Dean Mortlock and deputy editor Neil Randall worked on Sega magazines when Sega still made consoles, and they’re joined by Paul Monaghan and Marc Jowet as staff writers. We spoke to them to see what’s behind this new launch.

How did you guys arrive at the idea of putting together a new Sega magazine?
