Flying hammerheads

Ali Wood’s ‘Hull and keel prep’ article (PBO December 2021) reminded me of grinding back the keel on my Moody 33 MkI a few years ago: a filthy task made all the worse by her wide beam and short keel, which meant curling up into a ball to get under her!

Ali mentions the Tercoo rotary blaster, which is just what I used to take the rust off after reading a review in PBO. It’s a fantastic tool and does the job as well as a needle gun. However I’d like to offer a warning to potential users.
