Tugging the seatbelt over my shoulder, I strapped myself in. ‘Ready to go?’ I asked my daughter Eva, three. Setting off to our local
supermarket, we grabbed our food for the week.
I had to ensure I was stocked up on plenty of beetroot.
My weird, but strong, pregnancy craving.
‘Did you get your beetroot?’ hubby Sean, 34, laughed as we walked back through the door.
At least I finally had an excuse for him to help me carry the shopping bags in.
After nine years together, we wanted to be able to give Eva the chance of being a big sister.
And the waiting game was nearly over.
I was now heavily pregnant.
