WOMEN OF THE YEAR

TIME hosted an event to celebrate the publication of its Women of the Year and the Anita Hill biopic while NAACP president Sherrilyn Ifill talked about what gives her hope for gender equality. Olympic track star Allyson Felix spoke about maternal health, stating, “We have to advocate for our own health. There’s so much implicit bias in the medical field. We need to change that and listen to and believe women.”
