Lincoln goes midsize

Two decades ago, John W. Heyer decided to look into a fellow club mem-ber’s 1977 Lincoln Versailles that had suddenly become available.

“The car belonged to a guy in the (AACA Ontelaunee Region),” Heyer said. “He passed away, it was stored at another friend’s place and he said to his widow, ‘You’ve got to get this car out of here.’ He called me up and said, ‘Do you want to come down and look at it?’
