BLESS YOU!

he California-based Sisters of the Valley are made up of a group of activists who celebrated the arrival of spring with their most why they ended up having an excess of over 13,000 hemp seeds. “When they made the law of 20 acres or less personal, we said, ‘Oh shit, the sheriff is shutting us down.’ And we got the news in the summer and we already had a crop going,” Sister Kate shared. “So the crop manager said, ‘There’s males to kill.’ And I said, ‘No, don’t kill the males.’ So, we just decided to let it go to seed, because we were pretty sure that they were going to get ripped. And they never bothered us, and a year later they changed the law back.”
