• Assorted scraps of light and medium/dark print fabrics to total about 2m (2¼ yd) (half-square triangle units and Border 3 applique)
• Fat quarter each of one blue and one green print fabric (appliqued trees)
• Fat quarter each of one blue and one cheddar yellow print fabric (appliqued vases)
• Six fat eighths of assorted brown print fabrics in a range of values (Border 1)
• 1.3m (1½yd) blue on cream print fabric (setting triangles and Border 3)
• 1.1m (1¼yd) medium brown print fabric (Borders 2 and 4 and binding)
• 3.8m (4¼yd) backing fabric
• Batting at least 185cm (73in) square
• Template plastic and fine permanent-marking pen
• Rotary cutter, quilter’s ruler and mat
• Sewing machine with ¼in foot
• General sewing supplies
