Lawson is living her best life

SNEC, W Lothian

MILLIE LAWSON and Yolo headed a competitive Royal Highland 148cm qualifier with 0.21sec in hand. There was some real quality on show at the first pony qualifier of the season, with seven out of nine combinations unexpectedly jumping clear over a technical 1.20m first-round track.

Four kept clean slates in the jump-off, with Millie pipping Fergal Holohan and Little Flexible to the win, while Madelaine Archibald collected the remaining ticket with Bay Friend in third.
