WITH her daughter Madison Crane away, Sam Ross took the lead on her pony to collect an National Pony Society (NPS) Silver Medal rosette, followed by the supreme of show honour.

The pony in question was the show hunter Tandridge First Edition (Hank), a five-year-old by Tandridge Democrat out of Bankswood Honeysuckle. The 143cm contender was sourced as a three-year-old during lockdown in 2020 from Oliver and Jo Burchell.
