Nature’s way

When Isla Middleton is short of inspiration she simply pulls on her walking boots, shrugs into her coat and heads out across the local countryside around Dartmoor armed with a camera, sketchbook and an open mind.

She will be looking for plant forms, flowers, colours and textures to hone and simplify into striking designs, which will be eventually transformed into her distinctive range of prints.

This attention to detail and passion for getting back to nature are key elements of Isla’s growing
