Only compare like with like

As a subscriber to MSL magazine for several years, I always look forward to receiving it every month. As an owner of a Honda CB 500X, I was pleased to see an 8-page feature on the CB500 range, as this sort of editorial space is usually reserved for the latest Ducati or Harley, etc.

I was even more pleased to see it was Mikko who was writing the article. He won’t resort to comparing ‘smaller’ bikes with much larger ones, or claiming that you have to ‘rev the nuts’ off them to get any sort of ‘fun’ out of them. How wrong could I be!

By paragraph five, he was already comparing the CBR500R to a Fireblade, and by the end of the next paragraph he was well into saying ‘you have to make sure you are using every last bit of the available power to propel yourself
