A cold, crisp morning, with clear blue skies, greeted the hundreds of spectators who travelled to the MoD land at Hungry Hill, close to the garrison town of Aldershot, for the annual Talmag Trophy Trial at the end of January. Normally, for both riders and spectators it is an event not to be missed and this year expectation was even higher, as last year’s event was cancelled due to Covid, hence the high, early turnout of spectators.
