Groundbreaking for the Baker Theatre and Education Corner of First Avenue South and Goodlette-Frank Road More than 300 attended the event, including local officials and lead donors, with performances by Lora Lee Gayer, Nick Duckart, and Michael Hicks. The building—with two performance venues, an educational wing, rehearsal spaces, and a café—is projected to open by fall 2023.
