01 FOOT POSITION

ou will be on the arch of your foot for the most part, and here are the reasons why. In this position your ankles are much more supported. If you land hard off a jump, for example, you have the best chance of handling the impact and not injuring your ankles. When you are on the arch of your foot you can reach your shifter and rear brake, too. As you become a more experienced rider you will, however, start to move around on the footpegs more, including riding on the balls
