IT’S HARD to remember a more successful product launch than that of Royal Enfield’s 650 twins in 2018. From out of nowhere, the Continental GT 650 and Interceptor 650 attracted almost an instant cult following driven by their classic Britbike styling, soulful engine, easy rideability and killer Made-in-India sub-$10,000 price.

Perth Café Racers member Andy Duff was an early adopter, purchasing his Continental GT 650 brand new from#38). Much of the fabrication on that bike was done by Marijn ‘Billy’ Kuijken at Rogue Motorcycles in West Perth, and it was to Billy that Andy turned to set his new GT apart from the crowd.
