READING THE BUMPS
• The best way to learn to read these bumps is to sit out the back and watch the bumps roll past you. Instead of looking out to sea (upwind) look into shore (downwind) and follow the backs of each of the bumps. The steeper and shorter the trough behind the peak the easier it will be to use it to paddle up and onto the foil.
